The Ukrainian national broadcaster (NTU) today has announced that Kyiv will hosting the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, next year in Ukraine at the International Exhibition Centre.
This will be the second time that the Eurovision will be hosted in Kyiv, the first time was in 2005 .
The dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been confirmed: the semifinals are scheduled to be held on on 9 and 11 May whilst the Grand Final will be held on 13 May.
A total of 6 cities battled for the right to host the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest: Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kherson, Kharkiv and Odessa.
