Interval acts in 2018
The opening and interval acts for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest include Salvador Sobral who stole the show in Kyiv last year to claim Portugal’s first victory with his song Amar Pelos Dois. Sobral will be returning to the stage for a performance that will include new material alongside his winning song.
In a world exclusive, traditional Portuguese Fado artists Ana Moura and Mariza will, for the first time ever, perform together. Both acts will share the stage during the opening segment of the show for what is set to be a landmark moment in Portuguese music history. They will be followed by the classic Eurovision flag parade which will be soundtracked by world champion scratch artists Beatbombers. Completing the Grand Final line-up is DJ Branko who will create an electronic journey of music around the world.
The venue for Euroclub in Lisbon has changed from the previously announced location and is now in the city centre, right next to Eurovillage. Open only to accredited fans and press, the club will operate throughout the event fortnight in Portugal’s capital. The exact venue will be announced in the coming weeks.
